Fadi Rashid has been named as the General Manager for the Energy International – Jordan office.

Rashid joined the EIC Jordan office in September 2012 as a Senior Marketing & Sales Engineer. He was promoted to Energy Solution Manager/Business Development Manager at the end of 2013 and was named Assistant Manager of the Jordan office at the end of 2014.

“Fadi has been a major force in the success of our Jordan operations,” said Ned Fawaz, CEO, Energy International Corporation. “Fadi is a great leader and consummate business professional. We are very pleased to have him as manager of our Jordan office and look forward to many more years of success.”
Rashid holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Plymouth in London, United Kingdom as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jordan in Amman.

Rashid has been instrumental in the development of The Energy Solution program launched in Jordan in 2014. The program provides a free energy usage analysis of the cooling systems of large businesses, hotels and medical facilities in Jordan.

The study compares the energy costs of their current chillers to how much they can save by replacing those units with energy-saving JCI/York chillers.
Energy International handles the installation and commissioning of the units and assumes all of the financial risk, only collecting payment if the new systems meet the energy reduction targets set by the analysis.

The program has been a major success for the EIC Jordan office.

Fadi has also established the Energy Service Company to provide maintenance on the Energy product line with a specialty on JCI/York chillers. The department is staffed by one engineer and four technicians and includes a fleet of service vehicles and a parts warehouse.
