The Lebanese American University campus at Byblos has been undergoing a major transformation as the university expands to meet the growing number of new students. Ongoing projects at the Byblos campus include the renovation of the Tohme-Rizk Administrative Building and the inauguration of the Chagoury Health Sciences Center which houses the Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy. The campus is also expanding its parking facilities with the construction of a 19,000 square meter, five-story underground car park with a capacity for 600 cars. When completed, the structure will utilize the latest parking management systems, access control, fire-fighting systems and CCTV. The new parking structure will make life easier for LAU’s students, faculty and staff offering ample parking located in the center of the campus.
